Neda Faregh, Ph.D.

Dr. Neda Faregh has extensive experience in health and wellness consulting. She is known for her warm, engaging approach and ability to establish meaningful connections with individuals seeking support, creating a welcoming environment where people feel understood and respected.

She integrates Cognitive Behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and Emotion-Focused approaches. Her areas of expertise include culturally sensitive health support, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum support, addiction-related concerns, couple relationships, and pain management.

She earned her Ph.D. in Health Psychology (Ottawa, 2008), and completed Postdoctoral Fellowships at McGill University (2009-2011), the Douglas Mental Health University Institute (2011-2013), and the Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit (2011-2014). She has additional training in Emotion-Focused approaches for both individuals and couples.

She is an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University, maintaining an active research program with numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in areas including addictions, ADHD, Perinatal depression, and global mental health.

Dr. Faregh is licensed to practice in Quebec through the Association des Naturopathes Professionnels du Québec (AQTN). She works with adults, including young adults, and provides services in English, French, and Persian.
